First Tuesday Muse was created to provide opportunities for poets from the Greater Quinte Region to perform for an attentive, supportive audience at the Tweedsmuir Tavern in downtown Tweed. The open mic is the first Tuesday of the month from 7pm to 9pm. If you wish to participate please e-mail - firsttuesmuse@gmail.com

It is a not for profit "basket" event.

The beautiful lectern was created by Doug Anderson. It is patterned after North Shore of Lake Superior by Lawren Harris .

Larissa Myrie has created a different backdrops for the stage .
